Lisa Hyder was born in 1985 in Stockholm. She is employed as a lawyer who prefers to write children’s books during her work. Her first book, a suspenseful story about two siblings from the Tilly family called Library Strike, was published in 2014. Three more books from the same series followed: Art Strike, Inventor Strike, and Ghost Strike. The picture book When the Day Ends, created together with Per Gustavsson, was published in 2017. It was nominated for the biggest Swedish literary award, August.

Per Gustavsson was born in 1962 in Arvika. After completing his studies and receiving the title of Master of Fine Arts, he devoted himself entirely to creating works for children and youth. In 1995, he published his first picture book, Stop the Ball, and then hit the literary scene like a bomb with a series of picture books about imaginative princesses, That’s How Princesses Do It. Since then, he has illustrated many well-known works for children and young adults by various authors, and has also written quite a few of his own. He is a member of the Swedish Academy for Youth Literature and a member of the jury that awards the ALMA (Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award), he is also the winner of the Elsa Beskow Plaque and has been nominated for the August award three times.

Iva Klemenčič studied journalism and German language with literature in Ljubljana. After graduation, she devoted herself to learning Swedish, which she has been in love with since childhood. She completed all three years of the Swedish Language course at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. As a Svenska institutet (Swedish Institute) scholarship holder, she also studied in Sweden: at Kalix College and Uppsala University. Since 2010, he has been teaching Swedish in the evening courses at the Faculty of Arts and the LanguageSitter language school and is engaged in literary translation. She translated some Swedish texts for children, her first translations from the Norwegian language were published in the Anthology of Contemporary Norwegian Literature, and her first translations of Icelandic poetry and prose were also published in the Anthology of Contemporary Icelandic Literature. She recently took on a new challenge: translating Slovenian poetry into Swedish. For several years, she regularly translated for the magazine History, she also debuted as a film translator at the retrospective of Ingmar Bergman’s films at Slovenska kinoteka.
